SECTION C:  CONFERENCE EVENTS

WELCOME RECEPTION: The Welcome Reception will be held on Monday 8th September from 5.30 - 7.00pm at the Brisbane Hilton and is complimentary with each registration. Please tick if you wish to attend as this will help us with catering, thank you. 

CONFERENCE GALA COCKTAIL DINNER: Your Conference Registration fee DOES NOT include the Conference Dinner to be held on Tuesday 9th September at Vino's Riverside Restaurant (Upper Level, Eagle Street Pier) from 7:00pm - 11:00pm.  Cost of $95.00 per person (inc. GST) includes substantial canapes, drinks (wine, beer & softdrinks) and entertainment.  This will certainly be an entertaining evening so please indicate if you would like to join us at this event.  Book early to avoid disappointment.

Cheque payments will be accepted. However these payments must be received prior to the start of the Conference and/or checkin date for accommodation (we can only pass on accommodation payments that we have received, if these have not been received the delegate will have to pay the hotel direct)

CANCELLATION & REFUNDS: Cancellations received in writing by The Hotel Network by 1st August 2008, will be accepted and fees refunded less a $55 administration fee. Substitute participants are welcome. Please note: No refunds will be applicable after this date.

Cancellation of accommodation must be made in writing directly to The Hotel Network. Cancellation made after 1st August 2008 may attract a penalty payment at the discretion of the hotel/apartment property. Transfer of accommodation booking to another person will be accepted.

TRAVEL INFORMATION:  Travel reimbursement will be available from Jobs Australia, equivalent up to the cost of 50% of the group conference airfare rate (as published by JA on the reimbursement form) for ONE delegate from each member organisation with its headquarters more than 300kms from the Conference Venue.  Forms will be available on the Jobs Australia website (http://www.ja.com.au ) following the conference and at the Conference.   PLEASE NOTE: Travel Reimbursement is only available for full Jobs Australia members and does not include Community Sector Industrial Relations (CSIR) subscribers.
